Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the timings of its services during the holiday of Eid Al Adha 1442H (2021). The revised service timing applies to customer happiness centres, paid parking zones, public buses, metro, tram, marine transport, and service provider centres (technical testing of vehicles). At the same time, RTA calls on the community to comply with COVID19 health precautionary measures during EID Al Adha holidays.
Public are also requested to plan journeys ahead of time and arrive early in stations to avoid crowding and delays. The public are also advised to use digital payments and digital assets such as TVM and Digital Kiosks (IMK & ITIK) and our seek help from on ground station staff.
Service provider centres and customer happiness centres will be closed from 9 to 12 Dhul Hijjah and will resume on 14 Dhul Hijjah 1442H. Smart customer happiness centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Manara and RTA Head Office will continue service 24/7 as usual.
The timing of the Dubai Metro service on the Red Line will be as follows: From Monday to Thursday (19-22 July 2021) from 05:00 am to 01:00 am (of the following day). On Friday (23 July), from 10:00 am to 1:00 am (of the following day), and on Saturday (24 July) from 05:00 am to 12:00 midnight.
The timing of the Dubai Metro service on the Green Line will be as follows: From Monday to Thursday (19-22 July 2021) from 05:00 am to 01:00 am (of the following day). On Friday (23 July), from 10:00 am to 1:00 am (of the following day), and on Saturday (24 July) from 05:00 am to 12:00 midnight.
The timing of the Dubai Tram service will be as follows: From Monday to Thursday (19-22 July 2021) from 06:00 am to 01:00 am (of the following day). On Friday (23 July), from 09:00 am to 1:00 am (of the following day), and on Saturday (24 July) from 06:00 am to 12:00 midnight.
The Public Buses (Dubai Bus) will operate during the Eid holiday as follows: Main Stations, including Gold Souq Station, from 04:30 am to 12:30 am (past midnight), and Al-Ghubaiba Station from 04:15 am to 01:00 am (of the following day). Sub-stations, including Satwa Station, will start from 04:30 am to 11:00 pm except for Route C01 which will be operating around the clock. Al-Qusais Bus Station from 04:30 am to 12:04 am (past midnight), Al Quoz Industrial Station from 05:05 am to 11:30 pm, and Jebel Ali Station from 04:58 am to 12:15 (past midnight).
The Metro Link Bus Service at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail, and Etisalat will be in service from 05:00 am to 01:10 am (of the following day). (Note: The timing of all Metro Link services is synchronised with the metro timetables.)
The Inter-city Bus and Commercial Coaches will be operating as follows: Sub Stations, such as Al Ghubaiba, from 06:40 am to 10:20 pm, Union Square from 04:25 am to 12:15 (past midnight), Etisalat Metro Station from 06:00 am to 09:00 pm, Abu Hail Metro Station from 06:20 am to 10:40 pm, and Hatta Station from 05:30 am to 09:30 pm. The timing of External Stations will be as follows: Al Jubail Station at Sharjah from 05:30 am to 11:15 pm, and Ajman Station from 04:30 am to 11:00 pm.
The Marine Transport means will operate as follows: The Water Bus will operate at Marina Stations (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade) from 12:00 (noon) up to 12:00 (midnight). The tourist services will run from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The Water Taxi will be operating on demand and the service will be available from 12:00 (noon) up to 08:00 pm. Customers need to make pre-booking.
Traditional Abras will be operating during the holiday at Dubai Creek Stations as follows: Dubai Old Souq – Baniyas from 10:00 am to 01:00 am (of the following day), Al Fahidi – Al Sabkha from 10:00 am to 12:30 am (past midnight), Al Fahidi- Old Deira Souq from 10:00 am to 12:30 am (past midnight), Baniyas – Al Seef from 10:00 am to 01:00 am (of the following day), Dubai Old Souq – Al Fahidi – Al Seef from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Al Jaddaf – Dubai Festival City from 08:00 am to 12:00 (midnight).
Traditional Abras will be running tourist journeys at Sheikh Zayed Road Station from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Dubai Creek from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Another tourist service will be running at Al Jaddaf/Dubai Festival City from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Dubai Ferry will run service during Eid Al Adha holiday at Al Ghubaiba-Dubai Water Canal-Dubai Marina Mall at 11.00 am, 01:00 pm and 06:30 pm. (Note: The 11:00 am journey will not stop at the Dubai Water Canal). The Ferry tourist service will run from Marina Mall Station at 03:00 and 05:00 pm, and from Al Ghubaiba Station at 05:00 pm.
Except for the multi-level parking terminals, the public parking in Dubai will be free from 9 to 12 Dhul Hijjah (19 to 22 July 2021).
