Children
Children under 5 years old travel for free on the Dubai Ferry. Children aged 5 years or over pay the full adult ticket price. It is possible to use a pushchair on the Dubai Ferry.

Buying Tickets

You can buy your Dubai Ferry Tickets at the ferry terminus (each one has its own ticket office right next to where the ferry departs) and they can be paid for by either cash, debit or credit card or Nol card. Your Nol card will need to be charged up with the full fare beforehand.

You can also buy tickets from the RTA website.

The tourist trips run for around an hour so this is a quite good value for a tour of the Dubai coastline.

There are also two spaces available for wheelchair users in the silver class area of the ferry.

The Dubai Ferry is also available for private hire – contact the RTA on 800 9090 for further information.

Is there any option to sail form Dubai Marina to Dubai Canal or Al Ghubaiba before 1pm? Maybe around 11am?

    Thanks

  5. Hello,

I try to bye 4 tickets to the ferry from Dubai Marina to Dubai Creek for this Wednesday at 1.00 pm. But i’ve tried three different credit cards to pay for the tickets and not one is accepted. Can I also buy the tickets at the departure station or is the chance big that there will be no more tickets available?

    1. Apologies for the delay in replying, yes you can buy tickets at the ferry terminal, just get there 30 minutes before if it is a day that is likely to be busy.

  6. I would like to book two adults, three children (ages 13, 11, and 5) for the Dubai Marina circular tour at 11:30 a.m. I’m not seeing this option in the drop-down menu…can you tell me what to put into the system to find these tickets? Thank you!

  7. Good evening, is the fare for Dubai ferry included, when we have the Silver Nol Card 7-day-pass? Thanks

  8. Hi, i want to buy ferry tickets online by rta website. Everything is ok, until i have to type my number of phone. Now i haven’t dubai sim card. Is it possible to skip this mobile number or type my european number ?

    1. Hi, the system I would say is slightly flawed for those who do not have a UAE mobile number so I would say you if you want to buy online then you will need to just enter a number in the format 971 50 1112222 and you will be taken to payment. You may want to check that tickets are sent by email and not text though as we do not have that information at present. You can of course buy tickets at the marine transport stations at the time of the trip as long as the trip is not fully booked which is only likely to happen at peak times.

  9. Hi,
Is the ferry will stop at Bluewater (at 1.20pm for route 1) to drop off the passenger or is it the ferry just pass by the Bluewaters and continue sailing to Dubai Canal?

  10. Is there a marine station from Creek Harbour marine station to the other side near Jaddaf metro station?
If so, how much is the ticket, thank you

    1. Hi Sam, there used to be a route from Dubai Canal Station to Al Jadaf but unfortunately this was stopped a while ago and we haven’t heard of when or if it might be reinstated.

  11. Why do you not accept German (foreign?) credit cards (I have tried both Visa and MasterCard)? Both cards have been used in the UAE without any problems.

  12. Your FAQ page directs you to Burj Khalifa website for buying tickets online, but there are no options for purchasing ferry ticket there…
I went to RTA website to purchase ferry ticket, but the page won’t accept USA telephone #…
I guess there are no way for USA residents to get ferry ticket online…

    1. Hi Jin, yes the tickets on the Burj Khalifa site seem to come and go. I think the RTA link is elsewhere on the site so I will add it in here. Yes you might need to wait until you get here to book or else UAE numbers often begin 050 XXX XXXX.

      1. Is it reliable to book online for abra or ferry transport?
Do they send pdf ticket or how can we show the proof of ticket at station?
I don’t want to stand in queues so I want to book online. Please clarify.

  13. Is it not possible to go by ferry from Al Ghubaiba to Marina Dubai? I wanted to book this way, but it was only the way from Marina to Al Ghubaiba possible.

  14. Hi dear all. I’d like to know which one of these options circulates around the Burj al Arab and the Atlantis. And what time does the ferry departure? Best regards.
